These tile drill bits are stocked in sizes 6mm right up to 117mm. They fit angle grinders and give fast drilling performance even on hard porcelain tiles. Sizes are selected to suit most recessed LED cut-outs and plumbing pipes.
This range of tile drill bits is designed to suit the recommended cut-out diameters of most integrated waterproof LEDs used in bathrooms, wet rooms and externally. They also suit other other applications such as plumbing pipes and 4in extractors and fittings for most popular wall plug sizes. They include premium diamond tips with vacuum brazed diamond to cut through the hardest grades of porcelain tiles. They are also ideal for ceramic, grez and clay tiles, granite and marble worktops and most stone.
They have M14 fixings to suit most angle grinders of size 115mm and above. This size would also fit the spindles of many polishers and rotary sanders. They can be used dry, but life can be extended further with water cooling if safe to apply. Life will depend on the type of tiles, depth, pressure used and speed, but typically 40 holes are achieved with 1 drill bit on thinner tiles, but far fewer on external thick slabs. Allow the bit to cool regularly especially if drilling in thicker porcelain.

Tip: A simple wooden 'V' cut into a piece of wood can make a good locating tool to start off the hole. We suggest practising on some scrap material if new to this type of core drill bit.
